Untitled Document Last week PlanetSide Universe had a chance to go out to Sony Online Entertainment and check out PlanetSide 2. We came back with some exclusive video of the game as well as a pile of new screenshots! Forgive me if this was answered somewhere else, but is there an option to stop the minimap/compass from spinning around? I would rather North always be on top (and I don't really understand why anyone would like it the way that it was shown in the video, but different strokes I guess). Personally, I find it much easier to tell where you are in relation to what when those "whats" are always in the same orientation. Similarly, I find it easier to call out directions to fellow players when I know that regardless of which way my character is pointing in the world, North is always on the top of the map.

So yeah, anyway to lock the map/compass?

Not that I saw but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I wasn't looking

That was easily the funniest part of the video, do you know if you can still shoot mines to blow them up?

Yea thats a new twist = you could never do that befor in PS unless there or different types of mines? Outside/anti-vehicle! inside/anti personnel mine!
